Service Description
The First Aid CPR/AED Instructor Academy is a 2 day, in-person course that provides training and certification in American Red Cross First Aid CPR/AED and certification to teach American Red Cross courses in their First Aid CPR/AED program. DAY ONE is a First Aid CPR/AED (Adult & Pediatric) course. This is an in-person class for "First aid, CPR/AED (Adult/Child/Infant)" taught in English. In this OSHA compliant training session, participants will learn how to recognize cardiac arrest in adults, children and infants, begin CPR and use and AED. Participants will also get first aid training that will help them recognize a variety of life threatening emergencies, so they can quickly start care. Participants that successfully complete the course will be issued American Red Cross certification in First Aid CPR/AED (Adult, child and baby) at the end of the Instructor Academy. This satisfies the First Aid CPR/AED certification pre-requisite to attending an Instuctor Level course. DAY TWO is the in-person session for the American Red Cross First Aid CPR/AED Blended Learning (BL) Instructor Course. This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. Completion is required to attend the in person skill session. *Participants must attend both days to get certification* To attend the in person session, participants are required to show: - Proof of completion for the online session - Current CPR/AED certification from an approved provider - Instructor materials in either digital or print format (Instructor's Manual, Ready Reference Cards)

Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. If you are unable to reschedule, a refund can be issued. All refunds for Blended Learning classes will be processed minus a 25 dollar fee per participant. The online content is given at the time of purchase and cannot be refunded. Refund requests made within 48 hours of your scheduled session will be processed minus an additional $5.00. If you have further questions, please fill out the form on our help page and we will reach out to you. No show: If a participant does not attend their scheduled session, they have 7 days from their original session to reschedule/request a refund. No refunds or rescheduling after 7 days. Participants will have to book again.
