Basic Life Support (BLS) - BL

Service Description

The Basic Life Support course is designed for participants working in a clinical setting with access to medical equipment such as a hospital. The course focuses on team response in sudden cardiac arrest (CPR/AED) and breathing emergencies for adult, children and infants. Course is taught in English. Because this course assumes you have (or will be receiving) advanced medical training or work in a field with regular patient contact, there is no First Aid being taught in this class. Prior to the in-person skill session that takes place at our office, participants complete an online portion. On average participants can complete the online portion in 2-3 hours. Participants should block 3 hours to complete the in person session. Completion of both the online portion and the in-person skill session is required for certification. After completing the course, participants get a certification (American Red Cross) which is valid for 2 years.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. If you are unable to reschedule, a refund can be issued. All refunds for Blended Learning classes will be processed minus a 25 dollar fee per participant. The online content is given at the time of purchase and cannot be refunded. Refund requests made within 48 hours of your scheduled session will be processed minus an additional $5.00. If you have further questions, please fill out the form on our help page and we will reach out to you. No show: If a participant does not attend their scheduled session, they have 7 days from their original session to reschedule/request a refund. No refunds or rescheduling after 7 days. Participants will have to book again.
